I installed, in a new machine, the Ebox version 1.4. I started by installing EBox-usergroups and EBox-software. when I enable the users module, after setting up the Master mode, gives me the error you see above. Users and Groups 1.4.4-0ubuntu1 ~ ppa1 ~ hardy1

try to start slapd on your box and report the returned error first run sudo /etc/init.d/slapd start if that fails run: sudo slapd -d 65535 and post the output of the command here
